Nami Tajima, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
She earned her PhD in Molecular Biology from Yokohama City University in Japan, where she trained under Dr. Jeremy Tame. Following her doctoral studies, she completed her postdoctoral training with Dr. Hiro Furukawa at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York, focusing on the pharmacology and molecular mechanisms of NMDA receptors.
In 2019, Dr. Tajima joined the faculty at Case Western Reserve University, where she continues her research in molecular neuroscience.
